Bridge and Body Policies

My goal is to provide a safe, professional, and relaxing experience for every client. The following policies help ensure that appointments run smoothly and that everyone is treated with respect. Thank you for taking a moment to review them before your session.

Privacy

Your personal and health information will be kept confidential and used only for providing massage therapy services, scheduling appointments, and maintaining client records, except where disclosure is required by law.

Sexual misconduct

Any form of sexual behavior, including inappropriate comments, jokes, gestures, requests, or physical contact, will result in the immediate termination of the session. The full session fee will remain due, and future appointments will be refused. If necessary, law enforcement may be contacted.

Illness

If you are experiencing a fever, contagious illness, vomiting, diarrhea, or other symptoms that could put either of us at risk, please contact me as soon as possible to reschedule your appointment. Likewise, if I become ill, I will notify you promptly and arrange a new appointment at the earliest available time.

Treatment limitations and professional boundaries

Massage therapy is a professional healthcare service. Appropriate draping will be used at all times, and only the area being treated will be uncovered. Clients are encouraged to communicate their comfort level regarding pressure, positioning, or techniques throughout the session. If there is a medical reason that a particular technique, modality or tool is not appropriate for you, I will use my professional opinion to refuse these to avoid potential harm.

Cancellation policy

Life happens! If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, I kindly ask for at least 24 hours notice. Cancellations made without 24 hours notice may be subject to a flat rate cancellation fee of 100$. Exceptions may be made for emergencies or unexpected illnesses at my discretion. Missed appointments within 2 hours of your scheduled service time will be subject to the full service fee of your treatment.

Late start to appointments

If you are not ready at your scheduled appointment time, your session may be shortened to avoid delaying other appointments. The appointment will still end at the originally scheduled time, and the full session fee will apply. I do include a 5 minute grace period, and will accommodate the full session length when my schedule allows.

Prenatal massage

At this time I do not offer prenatal massage services due to investment costs in specialized massage bolsters designed specifically for a comfortable and safe prenatal massage. As demand grows, I may offer this service in the future.

Minors

I do not offer massage therapy services to anyone under the age of 16. If you are booking a massage for a minor, be sure to complete the consent to treatment of a minor form. The parent or legal guardian must be present in the room for the duration of the treatment.
